Pastor Tracy was born in Camden, Mississippi and raised in Lansing, Michigan. He graduated from J.W. He committed himself to the studies of Biblical Theology, History, and Comparative Religion, with the goal of increasing his knowledge of the Word of God, for personal edification, as well as developing the foundation needed for ministry to others.
Pastor Tracy has also served as a Choir Director and a pastor in various prison facilities from 1998 – 2004. He has taught Bible Study, conducted discipleship workshops, and is gifted in the areas of compassion, mentoring, leadership and generosity. Although these gifts were misguided in his youth, he humbly submitted to God’s divine redirection. Pastor Tracy received his ministerial license from Union Missionary Baptist Church in Lansing, Michigan on August 17, 2005, under the pastorate of Rev. Melvin T. Jones, Sr. Pastor. He served as an Associate Minister at Union from 2004 – 2006.
In May of 2006, Pastor Tracy answered the call from God to start an outreach ministry. He asked four other individuals to assist him in this endeavor. Each of the four individuals, having been led by the Holy Spirit, accepted his invitation and thus began Walk In Truth Ministries. Pastor Tracy was ordained on October 8, 2006, at Walk In Truth Ministries in Lansing, Michigan by Rev. Betty Lott and Apostle Cora Duncan.
Pastor Tracy is the son of Jennie Edmond and the late Percy Edmond. He is the husband of Kathryn Edmond, and father of Cecilia and Tracy Jr.
A renewed commitment and focus have opened many doors that Pastor Tracy was unaware of in his past and now his calling is clear. To fulfill his God-driven purpose he must be active in the area of winning souls for the Kingdom of God by any means necessary.
